Ordering for Chef’s and Restaurants

Stemmler Farms specializes in producing microgreens for local and private chefs, high-end restaurants, farm-to-table restaurants, organic eateries, juice bars, vegan cafes, catering, and meal delivery services. Because most of our microgreens are grown to order, we generally require a bi-weekly or weekly commitment. This allows us to establish a steady growing cycle to fulfill the specific needs of each business, while guaranteeing a fresh harvest on the day of delivery.

Custom Order:

  • Our microgreens take 7-28 days to fully mature, lead time is based on the variety requested – i.e., micro herbs tend to take longer than standard greens.

  • We need a minimum of 2-3 weeks’ lead time on your first order & delivery. From there, we curate a growing and delivery schedule based on your needs.

  • Currently, our standard delivery days are Thursday and Friday. All requests for deliveries outside of our normal schedule will be considered and we will do our best to accommodate.

  • Delivery fees are calculated based on distance from Blue Point, NY.

  • Payment methods and options can be discussed based on the needs of each account.

  • 2-3 weeks’ notice is required if the buyer discontinues with us as their supplier.

    One-Time Orders:

  • Please inquire about weekly availability by submitting a contact form.

  • Microgreen availability that is not grown to order, will be limited and can vary on a week-by-week basis. All orders are first come, first served.
